Choose what to automate

The whole cycle.
Or just one step.

You can automate the full cycle or just the part that is costing you time today.

01 / End-to-end catalog automation

From source to validated product.

Start with EAN / GTIN, MPN, a product URL, supplier files or an API. Build an agreed path to enriched records ready for your PIM or ecommerce.

  • Find and cross-check appropriate sources
  • Structure content, images and attributes
  • Validate, flag exceptions and prepare create/update actions
Discuss the workflow

02 / Targeted catalog improvements

Improve what you already have.

Work on existing product pages, ecommerce exports or PIM records. Keep the correct data and change only what the agreed scope requires.

  • Enrich PDPs or complete missing attributes
  • Translate, associate images or clean up records
  • Deliver a reviewable batch or an import workflow
Explore individual services

A workflow scoped to your needs: input → sources → images → attributes → product content → translations → validation → create/update → activation. We agree the stages, sources and system interfaces for each project.

Built for high-friction catalog operations

Where the work piles up

Every new supplier
brings another cleanup job.

Your team opens spreadsheets and PDFs, checks units, finds missing specifications and copies information between systems. New products wait while the same work repeats.

CatalogRail handles the repeatable steps and flags what needs a decision. Your existing ERP, ecommerce platform or product information system stays in place.

01 / TIME

Manual work per product

Copying, searching and reformatting multiply with every reference. In the audit, we measure time on a representative sample.

02 / QUALITY

Incomplete product records

Missing attributes and mixed units lead to rework. Required fields and validation rules make gaps visible.

03 / ERRORS

Conflicting codes or stock data

Supplier updates can disagree with existing records. Flag mismatches before agreed updates reach the destination.

04 / ONBOARDING

Supplier files waiting to go live

Each new format delays the next batch. Start with one supplier and measure the route from received file to accepted record.

Who it is for

Technical catalogs.
Busy operations teams.

For operations, ecommerce and purchasing teams at electrical and industrial distributors, automotive parts businesses, and hardware or trade-supply wholesalers. Also for other sectors with complex catalogs.

Different suppliers, technical specifications and frequent updates are the common thread. The variable frequency drive below is a typical example: power, voltage and current must make sense together before the product is ready.

Start with a focused pilot

Controlled scope. Real data. Measurable output.

  1. 01

    Scope a real bottleneck

Choose one supplier, category, batch of existing PDPs, attribute set, translation batch or validation process. Agree inputs, outputs and acceptance criteria.

  2. 02

    Map the operating rules

We encode your taxonomy, required attributes, validation logic and acceptable evidence.

  3. 03

    Build against real data

A working pipeline transforms authorized source data and surfaces uncertain cases explicitly.

  4. 04

    Measure the result

We count what was populated, source-verified, flagged as conflicting and routed for review.

  5. 05

    Deliver the path forward

You receive structured output, an exception register and a clear route to production integration.

Built for accountable automation

Speed is useful.
Control makes it operational.

01

Your workflow, encoded

Supplier formats, category logic, validation rules and destinations differ. The automation is shaped around them.

02

Traceable by design

Important facts retain their supporting source when technically feasible, making review faster and decisions defensible.

03

Confidence made visible

High-confidence results and uncertain cases do not follow the same path. People focus where judgment adds value.

04

Built to reach the stack

The objective is usable product data in the right operational destination — not another disconnected spreadsheet.

What the pilot delivers

One concrete problem.
A paid, focused pilot.

Start with one supplier, a category, existing PDPs, missing attributes, translations or a validation task. The first project is small and paid, with scope, deliverables and price agreed before work begins.

Supplier data→CatalogRail→Existing PIM / ERP / ecommerce
  • Constrained production-relevant scope
  • Custom transformation and validation logic
  • Exception handling and source traceability
  • Clear recommendation for the next operational step

Modular product data services

Improve the part
that needs attention.

Each service can be commissioned independently. Bring existing records or a defined batch; we agree what to change, what to preserve and how you want the result delivered.

Scope depends on source availability, permissions and data quality. Sources such as Icecat, authorized web extraction and APIs are assessed for each project; no universal connector or unrestricted web extraction is assumed.

01

Existing product page / PDP enrichment

Thin or incomplete published pages? Improve descriptions, bullets and content structure, recover reliable specifications and flag gaps. Receive content ready for review or import.

02

Attribute completion and mapping

Missing or inconsistent technical data? Research from EAN, MPN or URL, normalize units and map fields to your taxonomy. Preserve correct values and flag unsupported ones.

03

Catalog translation

Preparing another market? Translate titles, bullets, descriptions and attributes with consistent terminology, technical references and quality checks for the agreed languages.

04

Product images and content

Missing or mismatched images? Locate authorized assets, associate references and variants, flag duplicates and prepare image lists or metadata for your ecommerce.

05

Data cleaning and validation

Empty fields, format differences or conflicting records? Apply category rules, identify possible duplicates and deliver normalized data with an exception report for human review.

06

Bulk updates and integrations

Too much manual importing? Prepare controlled batches, import/export workflows or create/update actions, with traceability and checks before publication. Synchronization depends on available interfaces.

CatalogRail is led by Pablo Sánchez, with hands-on expertise across ecommerce automation, product data, catalog operations, PIM-related workflows, data extraction, n8n and RPA.

Pablo’s prior professional ecommerce experience includes designing and working with end-to-end product lifecycle pipelines. CatalogRail builds each customer workflow independently, using authorized data and agreed interfaces.

Our public demo uses synthetic data. A pilot uses your authorized supplier data, your rules and agreed acceptance tests. We compare the result with the current manual process and document exceptions.

What would you like
to improve?

Tell us whether you need a full workflow or an improvement to existing products. A small batch of pages, attributes, translations or validation checks can be a useful starting point.

We will review the input, available sources and expected output, then agree a paid first scope and price before starting. Ongoing support can be scoped when it is useful.
